In the world of painting, that means ‘prep work’. There are no shortcuts to creating professional results and that starts with prep work. Today, prep-work seems to be a skill long-abandoned by most. It’s certainly not easy, but when it comes to preparing a surface it's critical. Prep work allows us to clean, repair, and preserve the surface itself, extending the life of the paint—sometimes up to twice as long. Each surface we paint requires something different. From cleaning to scraping, puttying to caulking, and sanding in-between each coat — surfaces constantly nurtured to express the desired color and a finish that lasts.

Marge came to check on the progress throughout the project, and her crew was prompt, friendly, and showed great care for our home. Their prep work was extensive and meticulous—often manually scraping wood siding, eaves and original windows which are at least 25 feet high; today they look brand new. The finished result is beautiful. We have since had Marge’s crew back to do interior work, and the results are just as remarkable."
